Yandex invites you to tell us about yourself

Yandex has given all organizations the ability to independently add and edit their contact information and other reference information that appears in Yandex search results. Yandex displays the organization's address and phone number next to the website description, and additional information is available on the company card on Yandex.Maps.

Now any organization—a bank, a laundromat, or a ministry—can add or change information about itself completely free of charge using Yandex.Webmaster. Simply register your website with Webmaster. Business owners who don't yet have a website can add their company to the Yandex.Maps Business Search—no website required—or quickly create their own page using the Website Builder on Narod.

"The service was in beta testing for two months," says project manager Natalia Pleshkova, "and now we're ready to offer it to everyone. Users can conveniently see a company's address and phone number directly on the search results page, and this allows companies to count on calls from interested clients."

Yandex.Webmaster currently has 1,380 categories, the most popular of which allow for additional information. For example, a hotel owner might list the number of rooms and the distance to the sea, while a bowling alley owner might list the number of lanes, the availability of bowling balls, and karaoke.
