Yandex will notify owners of websites infected with malware.

To do this, the company will send an email to the addresses specified in the domain name registration data.

In March 2010, the company launched its own antivirus technology designed to detect resources containing new viruses.

This technology was previously used to notify search engine users of existing threats. Similar alerts were also previously sent to Yandex.Webmaster users.

Now both administrators and resource owners will also receive notifications from the company.
