Yandex strengthens protection for authors of original content

Yandex has introduced a new tool that allows original content owners to protect themselves.

A new feature is available in the Yandex.Webmaster service. Website owners can upload original texts that have not yet been published online to the system's interface, thereby confirming their originality. This way, resource owners can inform the search engine that they are the authors of the content, thereby protecting themselves from being republished by others.

The new feature is available to websites with a TIC of at least 10. The minimum uploaded text size is 2,000 characters, and the maximum is 32,000. Texts can be published on the website immediately after acceptance.
