The Yandex search engine is familiar with 10.6 million domain names in the Russian and other domain zones.

This was reported by the publication Seonews, citing the blog of Evgeny Trofimenko, head of the research and analytics department at RBS Corporation.

According to global statistics, there are approximately 234 million websites on the internet. However, this doesn't allow us to estimate what share of all domain names are known to Yandex, as global statistics also count pages on social media and blog hosting sites.
