There are almost 100 million names registered in the .COM and .NET zones.

According to a report from VeriSign, the administrator of the .COM and .NET domain zones, the total number of registered top-level domains exceeds 193 million.

The number of registrations in the first quarter of 2010 exceeded 11 million, which is 6% more than the previous year.

In total, more than 99.3 million names are registered in the .COM and .NET domain extensions. These domain extensions showed growth of 7% compared to the same period last year.

The number of requests to the top-level domain system is 63.2 billion per day, which is 41% more than a year ago.
