One of the first participants in ourNew Year's promotionAndrey Khvetkevich became the director of NIC.UA.list— tips on how to increase your productivity using simple rules. Since the character count is limited and Andrey's tips are engaging and detailed, we're publishing the full list here.
- Get up early. In the morning, your head is clear, so you can simplify your work or go to the gym.
- Exercise daily. Do 20 squats and 20 push-ups every day; this will keep your body toned and you'll look fit.
- Always eat breakfast! A healthy breakfast will improve your productivity and health. Ideal breakfast options include oatmeal with fruit or scrambled eggs with toast.
- Go to the gym at least three times a week. For me, it keeps me on track and prevents me from getting lazy. It's best to work out in the morning; it's a great way to warm up before work, and it's also easier, since after work-related problems, you often don't have the energy to exercise.
- The earlier you start working, the better - in the morning your head is clear and you are very productive.
- Delegate tasks. Everyone thinks they're the only one capable of doing a particular task, but if you have subordinates, be sure to delegate tasks.
- Don't forget to teach and learn. Every time you do this, you gain new experience, which improves your future performance.
- You are what you eat. Cook your own food.
- Avoid sugar and salt. You can get your daily intake in sufficient quantities from fruits, vegetables, and other foods.
- Make some cocoa. This drink improves your mood and prevents depression!
- Rest. Rest is the key to productivity and health!
- Avoid eating for at least 5 hours before bedtime. However, always drink water, even when you're feeling slightly thirsty.
- Go to bed earlier, and allow at least eight hours before your alarm. Healthy sleep means a better mood, stronger spirit, and increased productivity.
- For a good night's sleep, avoid watching TV in bed and spend less time on your phone or tablet before bed. When you go to bed, turn off all electronics and enjoy a soft bed, followed by sweet dreams. Having trouble falling asleep? Try relaxation exercises or ask your partner for a massage. If noises are keeping you awake, simply allow them into your future dreams. For example, if you hear cars driving, imagine them driving, and your brain will transform this into an interesting and deep dream.
